Mr. Harris graduated from Iowa State University with his Bachelor of Architecture Degree in May of 2011. He is involved in many phases of a project, from schematic and design development through construction documentation.

Bio

Originally from Burlington, Iowa, Mr. Harris attended Iowa State University where he earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1990. He began working at Roseland Architects in Ames as an intern architect that same year. Following the traditional internship and subsequent licensure he assumed the role of project architect with the firm in 1995. In early 2001 a professional corporation was formed with Mr. Harris as one of three principals in the new firm.

Daily work includes oversight of business related needs of the firm and project related responsibilities. Mr. Harris is involved with every phase of project development from initial programming and site selection to construction administration and project close-out. The firm is structured in a manner that allows daily interaction and involvement in all activities related to a project.

Mr. Harris has served on the Nevada Community School District Facilities Task Force, as a Trustee and Building Committee member for his local church, and for seven years on the Nevada Planning and Zoning Commission with three years as Chairman.

Bio

Born and raised in Iowa, Mr. Mackey graduated second in his class from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 1984.  In 1985, he earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Iowa State University and graduated first in his class.  After three  years with Charles Herbert & Associates (now HLKB) in Des Moines, Iowa, he joined former coworker Dick Roseland's young firm in Ames, Iowa in January 1989 as its first employee.

 Mr. Mackey is involved in all aspects of project development.  As the firm is a horizontally organized office, he is actively engaged in projects from programming through construction documents, consultant selection and coordination, client contact and business development.  In 2001, Mr. Mackey became a partner in the firm as it changed from a sole proprietorship to a professional corporation.  At that time, he took on coordination and oversight of in-house personnel.

Mr. Mackey has served two terms on the City of Ames Building Code Board of Appeals.

Bio

Ms. Meinhard's work includes a combination of meeting with clients to select interior finishes and assisting with the drafting of construction documents.  She also specifies and assembles proposal requests for furnishings, signage and window treatments to assist our clients in receiving competitive bids.  Ms. Meinhard also works on the design of residential projects as well as custom architectural casework.

Bio

Mr. Nutini is involved in all phases of a project from design to project close out.  Project tasks include schematic and design development, construction documentation and construction administration.  He is currently serving on the City of Ames Building Code Board of Appeals.

His community and civic involvement activities currently include positions on the Ames Building Code Board of Appeals and on the executive board of Young Professionals of Ames, where he will serve as President in 2011.  He was recently a recipient of a ‘4 Under 40 Leaders of Today and Tomorrow’ Award by the Ames Chamber of Commerce.  Dan earned LEED Accreditation in 2006, and maintains his interest in green building practices.
