- Faced with needs for better accessibility and increased classroom and office space, this Nevada, Iowa congregation required an efficient addition with provision for future expansion.
Project Description
Some members felt that an addition would detract from the appearance of the original building. However, with careful consideration of the original building vocabulary, an addition was completed with strong support from the congregation.
The addition includes an at-grade entrance foyer with elevator and stairway that accesses all levels of the original building.
New church offices and a classroom were added at the original lower level, with provision for future expansion above.
